Why we exist
The gap we kept running into
A lot of good businesses have a digital problem they have been putting off. No website, or one built years ago that nobody has touched since. Enquiries going unanswered because the phone rang while someone was on a job. A spreadsheet doing work software should do.
The options tend to be an agency that quotes five figures and takes three months, or a cheap template that looks like every other cheap template. Neither is what a business with good reviews and a bad website actually needs.
K1 Nova sits in the middle. Professional enough to represent a real business, small enough that you deal with the person doing the work, and capable of more than a brochure site when the job calls for it.

You talk to the person building it
No account manager passing messages along. The person you email is the person doing the work, which is why answers come back quickly and nothing gets lost in translation.
Plain explanations
Domains, hosting, DNS, indexing and SSL all sound more complicated than they are. We will explain what each one does in your project and why it matters, without making you feel like you should already know.
A price before we start
You get a written quote up front. If something changes mid project, we tell you what it costs before we do it, not after.
You approve before it goes live
Nothing launches until you have seen it and told us it is right. The review stage exists so you can change your mind.
Based in London, Ontario
Plenty of our clients are within an hour of here, which helps when the work is local search. We work with businesses further afield too, and the process is the same either way.
We do not oversell
If a smaller job would fix your problem, we will tell you. If we think what you are asking for will not work, we will say that too.
Being small
We are not pretending to be a big agency
K1 Nova is a small operation, and that is deliberate. Fewer projects at once, faster replies, and no layers between you and the person building your site. That does not mean small work: websites with accounts, payments and bookings behind them are squarely what we do. If we cannot hit a deadline you need, we say so before you commit.
