What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. That means:

• Information you type into the quote form: your name, business name, email address, phone number, existing website, the service you are interested in, your rough budget and your project details.
• Anything you include in an email or tell us on the phone.

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or third party analytics scripts. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not follow you around the internet.

How the form works

The quote form is processed by a third party form service, which passes the submission straight through to our email inbox. Your message travels over an encrypted connection. The form provider handles the message in transit and does not use it for its own marketing.

A hidden field is included in the form to catch automated spam submissions. It does not collect anything about you.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To carry out work you have hired us to do.
• To keep a record of what was agreed on a project.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for marketing purposes.

Who else sees it

A small number of service providers handle information on our behalf: the form service that delivers your message, our email provider, and our website host. Each of them only sees what is necessary to do their job.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept in our email for as long as they are useful, and project records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and support purposes. If you want your enquiry deleted, email us and we will remove it.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email contact@k1nova.com and we will respond. If you are not happy with how we handled it, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Website hosting and logs

Like nearly every website, our host keeps standard server logs which may include IP addresses and browser information. These are used for security and troubleshooting, not for tracking individual visitors.

Links to other sites

Where we link to a client's website or an external resource, that site has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for it.

Children

This website is aimed at business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not add tracking without saying so here.
